Ride a bike into Pisa

Direct, easy route from Marina di Pisa right into Pisa city centre, following the old tram line. It’s about 13km each way, almost entirely flat, mostly paved, and importantly, largely separate from road traffic – making it ideal for families.

You’ll pedal through pleasant pine forests near the coast before hitting more open stretches as you approach Pisa along the Arno river. It’s an alternative, hassle-free way to reach the Leaning Tower without driving or parking stress. Definitely recommended for an active day out – just remember water and sun cream for the open sections!
