Located south of Viareggio in a nature park, La Lecciona is a beautiful, long, wild sandy beach backed by dunes. Access involves a walk from the car park, and importantly, there are no facilities – bring everything you need (food, water, shade). It’s fantastic for families loving nature and space, but less ideal if you need amenities. Be aware that parts of this undeveloped beach are known for being clothing-optional.
Parts of the beach are frequented by LGBTQ+ community, including the nearby club and beach “Mamamia”.
