Piaggio & Vespa Museum

The museum is dedicated to the legendary Piaggio company, most famous as the birthplace of the Vespa scooter. A visit to the museum in Pontedera (~40 mins drive from Villa Lidia) is recommended as an half-day excursion or can be combined with exploring the Valdera region.

Inside this former factory building, you’ll discover an extensive collection of Vespa models, from the very first prototypes like the “Paperino” and MP6, through decades of classic and rare editions.

The Museo Piaggio is that entry is free of charge, though a donation is appreciated. For a small fee you can book a guided tour online (available in english).
