It’s a striking seafront promenade in Livorno, famous for its massive black-and-white checkerboard pavement and fantastic open views of the sea.
It’s ideal for a family stroll – plenty of space for children to enjoy, while you take in the scenery (sunsets are particularly lovely here). In my opinion, it’s a must-see if you’re in Livorno. As a bonus, the Livorno Aquarium is right there, making it easy to combine both for a simple and enjoyable family outing.
